FileZilla (ported from Windows) is a fast and reliable FTP client and server with lots of useful features and an intuitive interface.
The FileZilla Client not only supports FTP, but also FTP over TLS (FTPS) and SFTP. It is open source software distributed free of charge under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

- SFTP: Added compatibility flag to Site Manager to ignore invalid bits in file attributes flags received from non-compliant servers
- Removed autodetection of FTP server type governing the remote path syntax. Exotic server types now need to be set explicitly on the advanced page in the Site Manager

Whilst unable to login to a host with Cyberduck or Transmit, Filezilla told me a certificate was unknown but did I still want to login. However, the GUI is not even modern windows, its like something from an old Linux version, horrendous, do the paid versions look better, feel better or is it typical Geek technical? I marked it down for that.

Incorrect data. According to the official website, the requirements are 10.13.2 in the current versions. Why don't they update that data?

Having tried a number of 'FTP' apps I ended up with FZ (and tossed the rest) because it's so easy to set up and so easy to use. I haven't a single complaint after a few years of use. Can't beat the price either. Thank you!
